You are purchasing a one of a kind handmade item. Each piece may vary slightly in size, shape, color and design. These differences are not considered flaws but signs of being handmade.

If item is discounted, the reason will be listed in description.

Pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe. I do still highly suggest hand-washing for longevity of your piece. Most of my work has unglazed surface areas so you do not want to leave submerged in water for long periods of time. The inside of cups and mugs will always be fully glazed for this reason. Like any handmade or store bought ceramic piece, extreme temperature changes can also break down your piece over time, for example pouring boiling water into a very cold mug. You can always rinse your mug with warm water before making hot coffee or tea to help avoid this.

All clays and glazes are food safe.

Shipping boxes are recyclable & packing peanuts are biodegradable.

Orders will be shipped within 3-5 days from date of purchase via USPS or UPS, depending on what customer selected at checkout.

If your item arrives damaged, please email mcwhirtceramics@yahoo.com within 48 hours of receiving the item. Please include clear pictures of the item as well as the box it arrived in.
